Walgreens has established the following stores as “HIV Specialized Pharmacies.”  The pharmacists at these stores receive special, intensive training about HIV/AIDS medications (including PrEP) possible side effects, payment issues, and medication assistance programs.  Use these stores as a resource and discuss your concerns and needs with a pharmacist.  You can even visit a Walgreens Specialized Pharmacies before your doctor’s visit to find out what you have to do to get help paying for co-pays or deductibles.
