About Us

The Delaware HIV Consortium is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people living with HIV in Delaware. We work in collaboration with community partners such as service providers, civic leaders, and public health professionals. We fight to guarantee that accessible, high-quality, and streamlined treatment and prevention services are available statewide.

Since 1991, the Delaware HIV Consortium has provided leadership to eliminate HIV in Delaware by supporting and delivering top-of-the-line HIV care and prevention services. We’re one of the largest providers of high-quality HIV services in Delaware, administering a wide range of essential services, including HIV testing, housing and financial assistance, case management, and PrEP navigation. For more than 30 years, we’ve worked to help people with HIV thrive.

The Delaware HIV Consortium puts community building at the forefront, making sure we all share the responsibility of tackling the HIV epidemic. We ensure that people living with HIV are at the heart of service planning and action every step of the way.

  • Service Provider

We’re one of the largest HIV service providers in Delaware, offering a full spectrum of care—from HIV testing and PrEP navigation to case management and housing support. Our approach is all about trauma-informed, status-neutral care, putting clients in the driver’s seat, with a focus on choice. We meet people exactly where they are. Whatever you need, we’ve got you covered.

  • Statewide Collaboration

We’re all about community collaboration to connect services and drive HIV policy across the state with purpose and precision.

  • Education and Advocacy

We’re actively engaged in the community, driving education, workshops, training, and public policy advocacy to challenge HIV stigma and create lasting change.

  • Housing Assistance

We run the state’s only rental assistance program dedicated to people with HIV, ensuring stable housing that supports stronger health outcomes across the board.

  • Funding

We’re always working to secure diverse funding to advance our work and adapt to the ever-changing needs of the HIV community in Delaware.

At Delaware HIV Consortium, we’re committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equitable environment where all individuals are valued and respected. Our mission is to promote health equity by addressing systemic barriers and ensuring that our services are accessible and responsive to the diverse needs of our community.
