HIV Prevention Services

At the Delaware HIV Consortium, we’re committed to ending the spread of HIV and other STIs through a comprehensive, person-centered approach.

Services

Our prevention services are designed to meet people where they are, offering inclusive education, easy-to-access testing options, and personalized support for PrEP. We provide free at-home HIV test kits, in-person testing, and smooth connections to care—including PrEP providers, safer sex supplies, and mental health resources. Through outreach, events, and community partnerships, we focus on reaching those most impacted, ensuring that every Delawarean has the tools, knowledge, and support to protect their health and thrive.

We deliver these services using the CDC’s status-neutral model of HIV prevention—an approach that centers on each person’s needs, not just their HIV status. Whether someone tests positive or negative, we ensure they’re connected to the right care: treatment and ongoing support for people living with HIV, or PrEP, prevention tools, and health education for those who test negative. This model reduces stigma, promotes equity, and keeps our focus on each individual’s well-being and autonomy.
