| 12/01/2008 | World AIDS Day Services | Lead Empower Deliver highlights the leadership theme for 2008. It emphasises that people have offered their leadership now it is time to deliver. Promises must be kept and people must feel empowered to act. World AIDS Day is one of the most recognized international health days and a key opportunity to raise further awareness in communities and across the world about the state of the pandemic and critical next steps that must be taken to halt its spread. Please join us at John Wesley A.M.E. Church, from 6 8 PM, at 211 West Division Street to observe World AIDS Day 2008. Light refreshments will be served. |
| 12/01/2008 | Service of Remembrance and Hope (Rehoboth Beach) | This year's event is the 15th annual observance of World AIDS Day in Rehoboth Beach. The ecumenical service will include the Reading of Names of people who have lost their lives to HIV disease. A light supper will be served in the Fellowship Hall after the service. |
