Want to help make this year's fundraiser a success? Become a "Pie Captain" and help sell pies to your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. For every baker's dozen (13) of pies that you sell, you will get a chance to win a $100 gift card. You don't have to collect any money, just make sure your friends mention your name when ordering (whether they order online, by phone or by mail) so you get credit. We'll supply you with posters, brochures and PDFs of all marketing materials. You could win $100 simply by sending your friends an e-mail asking them to buy a pie. Our Efforts are About Community Collaboration…
The Delaware HIV Consortium and the Ministry of Caring's House of Joseph II are collaborating again this year for the eights annual 'Easy as Pie' fund raising campaign. Proceeds from this fundraiser support our programs statewide.
The Ministry of Caring is committed to serving the ongoing needs of the poor; food for the hungry, shelter and housing for the homeless and for individuals with AIDS, job training, dental care, child care and advocacy for the disenfranchised. The House of Joseph II is a permanent 16 bed residence for individuals living with advanced stages of AIDS. The residents are able to live as fully and independently as possible and receive respect and acceptance in response to their physical, nutritional, medical, psychological, recreational and spiritual needs.
Your donation of $20 not only gets you a delicious Thanksgiving pie from Linvilla Orchards or Just Desserts by Jekeitta, but also provides vital services to Delawareans infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Your donation will provide food, housing, medication co-pays and financial assistance to someone living with HIV/AIDS in Delaware. For a $50 donation receive three pies.
